       The dam in the southwest side of the lake is the beginning of the Millers River.  At 46.8 miles this river travels mostly westward until it meets the Connecticut River.

Boat Launch:
According to the town of Ashburnham, there is no publicly owned land for access to the lake.  There is the public road Sherbert Road that crosses water that can be used to access the lake. Launch near colvert.  Roadside parkingl

Put-In Directions (9.6 miles, 16 minutes):
From Exit 24 of Route 2 towards Winchendon/Route 140 North:
  1. Head west on Route 140 North/Route 2 West.
  2. At mile 2.7, at stop light, turn right onto Pearl Street/Route 101 North.
  3. At mile 5.9, at flashing yellow light, turn left onto Corey Hill Road.
  4. At mile 6.8, continue straight crossing Winchendon Road/Route 12.
  5. At mile 7.2, turn left onto Lake Road.
  6. At mile 7.3, make a slight left to stay on Lake Road.
  7. At mile 9.0, turn left onto Sherbert Road.
  8. At mile 9.6, arrive at colvert on causeway, the launch site.
Pull over near the colvert and unload.
Paddle through this weedy section to reach the main lake.
